The company is primarily engaged in the manufacture of industrial adhesives. It manufactures its products under the brands Obrador Adhesivos, Composan Adhesivos and Obratex. The story of the company goes back to 1944, year of the setting-up of Obrador Adhesivos. The company's head office is located in San Vicente del Raspeig in Alicante, Spain. Product range in sectors: Shoes (Contact Adhesive or Polychloropene (Soles - Lined - Set), P. U. (Polyurethane Adhesive for Soles), Cemen (Pairing and Adorning adhesive), Direct injection adhesives (P.U. Priming, Neoprene Priming, Special Primings), Primer (P.U. Priming, Neoprene Priming, Special Primings), and Water base adhesive (P.U. and Contact Adhesive)); Upholstery (Solvent (Sprays) and Water Base); and Other Sectors (Water Base and Solvent). Its adhesives are bought by the main shoe Spanish manufacturers, such as FLUCHOS, HISPANITAS, STUART WEITZMAN, REBECA SANVER, PEDRO MIRALLES, GRUPO HERGAR, PURA HERGAR, PURA LOPEZ, PANAMA JACK, etc. Apart from firms which produce for well-known brands all around the world, such as CHARLES JORDAN, CAMPER or TIMBERLAND. The Spanish market share of its production reaches the 35 percent of the sales to shoe and leatherwork manufacturers, but it also would like to highlight the market shares achieved in other markets, such as the mattresses manufacture, upholstery or furniture. In the foreign market, the company built a mixed firm in Turkey, with a self-production plant, together with the firm TETAS-TEKBES MAKINA TESTIL, and from this location, it commercializes the brands Obrador Adhesivos and Obratex. Furthermore, these brands have already been introduced in great potential markets, such as Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon and Iran.
